Excel Occupational Health Clinic was established in 2001 by Dr. Joseph Laluya and Dr. Edward Pillar. This multi-faceted medical facility consists of a 5,000 sq foot medical center and a 5,000 sq foot physical therapy gym. The medical side provides injury care and other services for local employers, athletic organizations and the community and specializes in musculoskeletal injuries. The physical therapy side of Excel provides a wide variety of services for people in need of physical rehabilitation due to injury, surgery or illness.
The principal doctors at Excel are both board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. They both completed their residencies at Rush Medical Center in Chicago, a university hospital known as a leader in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Both doctors have a great appreciation for working with people and share the common goal of obtaining the highest level of functioning for each of their patients.
The physical therapy staff at Excel are highly trained individuals who are at the top in their field when it comes to providing physical and occupational therapy with exceptional outcomes. We feel motivation is an important tool in the recovery process and provide a highly dynamic and positive atmosphere to help maximize patient involvement and reduce recovery time.
At Excel, we take pride in our knowledgeable
staff and state-of-the-art facility, and our professionalism
and expertise has not gone unnoticed. Excel's success in care
and service has been recently recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine,
who acknowledged our clinic on their "Hot
100" list for the fastest growing new businesses in America
in 2005. We look forward to building on this accomplishment
through continued excellence in patient care in 2006 and for
years to come.
